Nlrp12 is a protein that is encoded by the NLRP12 gene in humans. The function of this protein is not fully understood, but studies suggest that it may be involved in the regulation of inflammation and immunity. Mutations in the NLRP12 gene have been linked to a condition called autoinflammatory disease, which is characterized by recurrent episodes of fever and inflammation.
