Boeing is an American multinational corporation that designs, manufactures, and sells airplanes, rotorcraft, rockets, satellites, telecommunications equipment, and missiles worldwide. The company also provides leasing and product support services. Boeing has a long history of aerospace leadership and innovation. Founded in 1916 by William E. Boeing in Seattle, Washington, the company has grown to become one of the largest aerospace companies in the world.

Boeing has an extensive portfolio of products that meet the needs of commercial airlines, defense customers, and space exploration programs. Commercial airplane products include the 737 family of single-aisle jets (737 MAX 8), 747-8 Intercontinental widebody jetliner, 787 Dreamliner family of twin-aisle jets (787-10), 777 family of twin-aisle jets (777X), and 767 tanker program. Defense products include Apache helicopters, Chinook cargo helicopters, F/A-18 Super Hornet fighter jets , KC-46 Pegasus refueling tanker aircraft , P-8 Poseidon maritime patrol aircraft , Sikorsky CH-53K King Stallion helicopter , and AH-64E Apache Guardian attack helicopter . Space products include communications satellites (SES 14 & 15) , human spaceflight systems for NASA ( CST -100 Starliner ) , International Space Station components ( Node 3 “Cupola” ), military GPS satellite navigation system User Equipment , United Launch Alliance Atlas V & Delta IV rocket launch vehicles .
