Canterbury Christ Church University is a world-renowned institution of higher learning located in the United Kingdom. The university has produced some of the world’s most renowned scientists and doctors, who have made significant contributions to their fields. The university is also home to a number of Nobel laureates.
The university was founded in 1962 as Canterbury College, and was later renamed Canterbury Christ Church University in 1993. It is a member of the Russell Group of leading research-intensive universities.
The university has four campuses, all located within Kent: its main campus in the city of Canterbury; its Medway campus in Gillingham; its Tonbridge campus; and finally its Broadstairs campus. The university also has an extensive online learning provision.

In the 2014 National Student Survey (NSS), 91% of students said they were satisfied with their course overall – placing the university joint 12th out of all universities in England for student satisfaction (out of 153 institutions). In addition, 96% said they would recommend Canterbury Christ Church University to others – making it the 9th most recommended institution in England (out 152 universities). Overall satisfaction levels among postgraduate students were even higher at 94%.
