Criminals

Criminals are people who have committed a crime. A crime is an act that is punishable by law. There are many different types of crimes, ranging from minor offenses such as shoplifting to major offenses such as murder.

People who commit crimes usually do so because they believe that they can get away with it. They may also do it for financial gain or to further their own criminal careers. Some people commit crimes out of anger or revenge.

Most criminals are caught and punished eventually. The punishment for a crime depends on the severity of the offense and the jurisdiction in which it was committed. Punishments can range from a slap on the wrist to death.

Some criminals are able to avoid punishment by fleeing the country or going into hiding. Others manage to escape from prison and become fugitives from justice. Still others serve their time and are released back into society, where they may recommit crimes.
