The Denver Museum of Nature & Science is an American natural history museum located in Denver, Colorado. The Museum is a resource for informal science education in the Rocky Mountain region. Established in 1900, the Denver Museum of Nature & Science is the city’s largest cultural institution. It receives over two million visitors annually.
A variety of permanent exhibits are on display at the museum, including dinosaur skeletons, gems and minerals, Space Odyssey, wildlife dioramas, and Egyptian mummies. The museum also features a planetarium and IMAX theater. A variety of rotating temporary exhibitions are also on display. The museum offers educational programs for all ages; these include school field trips, summer camps, public lectures and workshops.
