Gle is a Russian word meaning “brilliance” or “sparkle”. It may refer to:

1) Gleb Bokii (1873-1943), a Russian electrical engineer and revolutionary who was one of the founders of the Soviet power industry.
2) Gleb Derzhavin (1743-1816), a Russian writer, statesman, and diplomat.
3) Gleb Wainstein (1908-1971), a Ukrainian-born Jewish American mathematician best known for his work in differential geometry.
