Kazan Federal University is one of the leading universities in Russia. It is located in Kazan, the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan. The university was founded in 1804 as Kazan Imperial University and currently has more than 40,000 students enrolled in its programs. Kazan Federal University offers a wide range of academic programs and has a strong research focus. The university is home to many notable alumni, including two Nobel Prize winners.
