Children’s National Hospital (CNH), located in Washington, D.C., is one of the leading children’s hospitals in the United States and is affiliated with George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. CNH has been ranked by U.S. News & World Report as one of the best children’s hospitals in the country for over a decade and is currently ranked #6 out of more than 180 pediatric hospitals nationwide.

CNH provides comprehensive care for infants, children, adolescents, and young adults up to 21 years of age with some of the most complex medical conditions and injuries from all 50 states and over 80 countries around the world each year. With more than 1 million patient visits annually, Children’s National is one of the busiest pediatric hospitals in the country.

The hospital offers state-of-the-art technology and facilities, including an advanced Electronic Intensive Care Unit (eICU) that allows specialists to remotely monitor patients 24/7 from a central location; a new Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) that opened in 2016; and The Tower – a 12-story building which houses many of Children’s National’s outpatient programs and clinics under one roof.
