Nervous System

Nervous System

The nervous system is the body’s control center. It consists of the brain, spinal cord, and nerves. The nervous system sends messages to and from the brain and spinal cord to the rest of the body.

The brain is the control center for the whole nervous system. It receives information from all over the body through the nerves. The brain then processes this information and sends out instructions through the nerves to tell the body what to do.

The spinal cord is a long bundle of nerve fibers that runs down your back. It carries messages between your brain and the rest of your body.

Nerves are like wires that carry electrical signals between different parts of your nervous system. There are different types of nerves, but they all work together to send messages throughout your body.
