Oregon Health & Science University is a public university in Oregon with a health focus. It was founded in 1974 and is the only academic health center in the state of Oregon. The university comprises eight schools and colleges, including the School of Medicine, School of Nursing, College of Dentistry, and OHSU Hospital & Clinics. The university’s main campus is located in Portland on Marquam Hill; its campuses also include Doernbecher Children’s Hospital and Shriners Hospitals for Children – Portland. The School of Medicine at Oregon Health & Science University trains medical students, residents, fellows, and scientists to become leaders in their fields.
