Predator X (Pleurodeles waltl) is an extinct species of large carnivorous aquatic reptile belonging to the family Pliosauridae. It lived during the Late Cretaceous period, between 145 and 66 million years ago. Predator X was one of the largest predators of its time, reaching lengths of up to 15 meters (49 feet). Its skull was nearly 3 meters (9.8 feet) long, and its teeth were up to 60 centimeters (2 feet) in length.
Predator X preyed upon large marine reptiles such as plesiosaurs and mosasaurs. It is thought to have used its powerful jaws and sharp teeth to decapitate its victims before swallowing them whole. Its massive size would have also made it capable of preying upon smaller dinosaurs that ventured too close to the water’s edge.
Fossils of Predator X have been found in Europe, North America, South America, and Australia. The first complete skeleton was discovered in 2006 in Utah, United States. Since then, several other specimens have been found in various parts of the world. These discoveries have helped scientists learn more about this amazing creature and its place in history.
