The Society for Consumer Psychology (SCP) is a professional organization dedicated to the scientific study of consumers and their behavior. Consumer psychologists study how people think about, select, use, and dispose of products and services. They apply this knowledge to help businesses design better products and marketing campaigns, as well as improve public policy related to consumer issues.
