The Optical Society (OSA) is an international scientific society dedicated to advancing the science and engineering of light and optical technologies. Founded in 1916, OSA now has more than 20,000 members from over 100 countries. The Society’s mission is to promote the generation, dissemination, application and archiving of knowledge in optics and photonics with the aim of enhancing global prosperity.
