Theia

Theia is an ancient Greek goddess who was the mother of Selene and Helios, and grandmother of Eos. She was also a Titaness. Theia’s name means “divine”, “bright”, or “the shining one”.

Theia was the wife of Hyperion and bore him three children: Helios (Sun), Selene (Moon), and Eos (Dawn). She also had a brother named Coeus.

The Titans were a race of giant deities who ruled the world during the Golden Age. They were overthrown by Zeus and his Olympian gods in the Titanomachy. Theias parents were Oceanus and Tethys, two Titans who ruled over the oceans.

Hyperion was one of the 12 Titans, he ruled over light and the east. He married Theia and they had three children together; Helios (Sun), Selene (Moon) and Eos (Dawn).
