Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST) is a world-class research institute located in Ulsan, Republic of Korea. UNIST was established in 2007 as the country’s first science and technology-focused national university. The campus is situated on 378 acres (153 hectares) of land overlooking the East Sea. The main academic buildings are clustered together in an area known as “Creative Campus” while student residences are located nearby. Other facilities on campus include a library, gymnasium, swimming pool, cafeteria, and convention center.
UNIST has been ranked among the top 3% of universities worldwide by all three major global university rankings (QS World Rankings / THE World Rankings / ARWU ShanghaiRanking).
