University Of Arizona is a land-grant and space-grant public research university in Tucson, Arizona. Founded in 1885, the UA was the first university in the Arizona Territory. The university includes the nation’s largest medical school and produces more than $824 million annually in research expenditures.

The University Of Arizona offers bachelor’s, master’s, doctoral, and professional degrees in more than 150 fields across six colleges: Agriculture and Life Sciences; Architecture, Planning, and Landscape Architecture; Arts and Sciences; Business; Education; Engineering. The University also operates several regional campuses throughout Arizona including those located in Flagstaff, Yuma, Phoenix, Sierra Vista/Douglasville (South), and Tucson Downtown (City Center).
The University Of Arizona’s main campus covers over 350 acres (1.4 km2) with 183 buildings at an elevation of 2,430 feet (740 m) above sea level on Tucson’s east side near Campbell Avenue between Speedway Boulevard and Mountain Avenue. Most buildings are constructed with buff brick trimmed with white mortar except for some newer structures that are made from concrete block or painted stucco.
