The University of Jaén (UJA) is a public university located in the province of Jaén, Andalusia, Spain. It was established in 1993 as part of the Andalusian Public Universities Law. The main campus is located in the city of Jaén, and it has satellite campuses in Baeza and Linares. UJA offers bachelor’s degrees, master’s degrees, doctorates, and other programs in a variety of fields including engineering, sciences, humanities, business, law, and health sciences.

UJA has over 14,000 students enrolled in its programs. The university offers a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs. Undergraduate programs are offered in fields such as business administration, economics, computer science, electrical engineering, industrial engineering, mechanics engineering, civil engineering , environmental engineering , materials science , mathematics , physics , chemistry , biology , geology , nursing , history , geography , philology , philosophy , art history . Graduate programs are offered in many of the same fields as undergraduate programs plus additional areas such as education (including special education and sports coaching), library science (including information science), psychology (clinical psychology and educational psychology), sociology (demography), political science (public administration), communication studies

The University Of Jaen Is A Highly Ranked Institution In Several Areas Of Study

The University Of Jaen ranks highly among Spanish universities according to various metrics. For example:
– In 2019 UJA was ranked 2nd overall among Spanish universities for employability according to EL PAÍS’ ranking system which takes into account factors such as employment rates six months after graduation and starting salaries.
– Also in 2019 UJA was ranked 6th among all Spanish universities for teaching quality by EL Mundo newspaper’s ranking system which looked at data such as student evaluations of professors and pass rates for exams.

Some individual degree programs at UJA have also been singled out for high rankings in recent years:
– In 2018 the MBA program was ranked 1st in Spain by Expansión magazine’s annual ranking system which looks at factors such as average salaries post-graduation and opinions from recruiters.
– Also in 2018 the Master’s Degree program in Labor Relations & Human Resources Management was ranked 1st nationally by Eduniversal Best Masters Ranking system which takes into account criteria such as reputation with employers worldwide and academic excellence.”
