The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh is a public university located in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Founded in 1871, it is the third-largest university in the state of Wisconsin. UW Oshkosh offers more than 150 undergraduate and graduate programs to its 11,600 students through its five colleges: Business, Education and Human Services, Letters and Science, Nursing and Health Sciences, and Social Work.
UW Oshkosh is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
