Aalto University is a multidisciplinary university located in Finland, with campuses in Espoo, Helsinki and Vantaa. The university was founded as the Helsinki University of Technology (HUT) in 1849, and later merged with the Helsinki School of Economics (HSE) and the University of Art and Design Helsinki (UIAH).
