Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) is a private medical school located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Founded in 1893, MCW is one of the largest medical schools in the United States and offers a full range of undergraduate, graduate, and professional degrees. MCW is a research-intensive institution with over $300 million in annual research funding and more than 2,000 faculty members engaged in basic, translational, clinical, and population health sciences research. The Medical College of Wisconsin is also home to several centers of excellence, including the Cancer Center, Cardiovascular Center, Stem Cell Institute, and Transplant Center.

The Medical College of Wisconsin has a long tradition of excellence in education and training physicians and other health care professionals. Today, MCW educates more than 1,200 students each year across its four schools: Medicine & Public Health; Graduate School; Pharmacy & Pharmacology; and Nursing. In addition to its Doctor of Medicine (MD) program – which is ranked among the best in the nation by U.S. News & World Report – MCW offers PhD programs in biomedical sciences as well as Master’s degrees in nursing and public health. The college also offers residency and fellowship training programs in nearly every medical specialty and subspecialty.
