The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, commonly known as the United Kingdom (UK) or Britain, is a sovereign country in western Europe. Its overall population density ranks among highest in Europe . London , being both capital city and largest metropolis , contains more than 12% inhabitants from total population od UK which makes it one most populous cities not just in Europe but also across globe .
