Founded in 1854, University College Dublin (UCD) is one of Ireland’s leading research-intensive universities. It is a member of the European University Association, the Russell Group of British and Irish research universities and a founding member of LERU, the League of European Research Universities. UCD is also ranked within the top 1% of higher education institutions worldwide by several independent university ranking systems.

With over 33,000 students from more than 140 countries enrolled across its five constituent colleges – Arts & Humanities, Business, Celtic Studies & Philosophy, Engineering & Architecture, Health Sciences, Law & Social Sciences – UCD offers a truly cosmopolitan learning environment.
